Kocken Hemma I StockholmI was born and raised on the countryside of Stockholm, Sweden. One of my earliest memories I have is forging wild mushrooms with my grandpa and grandma in the forest.
I come from a culinary family, my father is from New Orleans. He quit law school in his early 20’s to pursue his dream and true calling. He moved to Paris to attend La Varenne, which was one of the first professional cooking schools in France to offer simultaneous instruction in French & English and accredited, professional culinary degrees.
My mother was also working in the front of the house when I was a kid doing fine dining to help support her studies for her Master degree in botanic Biology.
Food and dining has always been a big part of my life. I recall owning my first chef jacket at the age of six and still have my first pay stub from my first job at 12 years old, making sandwiches at a hotel for breakfast and early birds.

I worked side by side with my father (who is a head chef) worked my way up the ranks at different restaurants and had the privilege to good mentors.
