I have always loved cooking, ever since I was a child, my grandmother and my mother used to let me help them in the kitchen. I loved and I love to see delicious dishes created with simple ingredients. For more than 15 years I have worked in the wellness industry, always keeping in mind what wellness and health really are: food, quality ingredients and respect for the seasons. I wish to share my passion and my food heritage with all the food appassionate visit Puglia. Part of the ingredients choosen for the preparatioan come from my family farm in Conversano and the other from small producers in the area.

I am often in London as my wife is English and I can give the private chef service following my food heritage, selecting appropiate ingredients in the small market. Often I teach classes on Apulian cuisine and handmade pasta also in London. Basically I am in my ‘habitat' anywhere as long as I have something to cook.

Bellissima esperienza che rifarò senza ombra di dubbio. Qualità del cibo e del servizio eccellente

Take a Chef provided an excellent service. Our chef was Domenico. What can I say... !!! He cooked for a party of five of us for ten nights. First of all, Domenico himself was great! He was friendly and extremely obliging. He had a really good sense of humour, and his cooking was amazing!! Domenico gave us background information about everything he cooked for us. It was really interesting for us to learn about the food and the different dishes that we ate. This wasn't the first time we stayed in Italy, but it was the first time (for four of us), that we experienced having a private chef. I would highly recommend Take a Chef, and I would especially recommend Domenico!! His colleague Sergio also helped out a few nights. He too was great fun and did a brilliant job of looking after us. It's not my intention to write a gushy review, but in all honesty, our stay was greatly enhanced having Domenico cook for us, and also enjoying his friendly personality.

Domenico is a superb chef and spoiled us with the delights of Puglia and the ingredients from his family farm and the region. We had also asked him to select some wine to go with his menus and he surprised us with some wines we would never have known about or picked. A brilliant evening - thank you Domenico!

La cena preparata da Domenico e' stata fantastica da tutti i punti di vista! E' riuscito a preparare una cena per 4 persone con antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce, nella nostra piccola cucina e a lasciare tutto perfettamente pulito e in ordine a fine serata. La comunicazione con Domenico prima della cena e' sempre stata veloce e piacevole, e e' stato disponibile a adattare il menu' in base ai gusti dei partecipanti. Domenico e' simpatico, cordiale, professionale, entusiasta a far conoscere la sua Puglia e disponibile a parlare inglese. Ha una vera passione per la cucina che traspare da tutti i suoi gesti e che ci ha trasmesso durante tutta la serata. In breve: abbiamo l'impressione di aver ricevuto molto di piu' di quanto abbiamo pagato!
