Chef Thabiso Makhoane

I am a professional chef, with a year’s experience. I have recently graduated with a diploma in advanced cookery, advanced patisserie and new product development. I have completed two line cook positions located in the Western Cape which have opened my eyes to different styles of cooking; and have allowed me to better create my own style based on the child hood that I have grown up from. I have also majored in New Product Development, having the ability to create recipes that can appeal to the health connoisseur. I am a health oriented individual, which I gained from a young age suffering from obesity and through research I had the ability to create health based recipes that allowed me to change my health lifestyle; still filled with the pleasure and enjoyment of consuming the food I have created. I strive on cooking for my friends and family, because I am able to tell my own story and give an experience filled with joy and laughter.
