Chef Samantha Koen

I am a professional Chef with 7 years experience in the culinary world. I started out with 2 years on a private charter yacht in the Seychelles where I cooked for many different families. One of these families then brought me back my roots in South Africa. I was their personal chef for just under 2 years when they backed my catering company. I left the business on the burner for a slow simmer whilst I racked up some knowledge on a Private Game reserve where farm to fork was my daily routine. I found a love for cooking the freshest venison anyone could ask for. When I got engaged I decided to move back to Durban where my fiance lived and here I got some first hand experience in a fully functional a la carte restaurant as the Executive Chef and baker. Once Covid hit I decided to turn up the heat on the business to a full boil. Since I have been flown around South Africa to cater for families on holiday.
