Chef Linda Mazibuko

I am a professional chef with 10 years experience in the culinnary world. I studied at HTA School of Culinary Arts in Johannesburg but am now based in Durban. I have worked for The Saxon Boutique Hotel & The Palazzo @ Montecasino. I was offered an opportunity to go and work in Doha, Qatar at the Kempinski Hotel where I sharpened my cold kitchen skills. When I came back to South Africa I was awarded the opportunity to compete in Top Chef South Africa season 1 and finished 7th place. I then began working with brands such as Whirlpool and Castle Milk Stout. Shortly after that, I worked for a VIP family as a Private Chef then began designing menus for restaurants in Johannesburg. I was then invited to Turkey to participate in a special restaurant project then continued to work as a Private Chef when I returned. I moved to Durban in 2020 and have been building my reputation as a Private Chef around Kwa-Zulu Natal. I also get booked by clients in Johanesburg from time to time.
