I am love, food translates to love when I work with different ingredients. I enjoy creating menus that tell a rich story.
I’ve always gravitated towards pastry-making. My love for cooking was inspired by my grandmother, who was a housekeeper, and an expert in baking and South African cuisine. After mastering the kitchen at home, I went to culinary school where I completed a 3-year professional chef’s qualification. During my studies, I got the chance to start my own private chef business, which has catered at business
functions, dinner parties, intimate gatherings and more. I have also had the honour of working at different popular fine dining restaurants, where I got to understand the art of delivering luxurious
experiences through food. I’m passionate about the effort and process that goes into crafting food. My menu is inspired by
the different cuisines, tastes and techniques I’ve gathered throughout my culinary journey. You can expect to find Mexican, Mediterranean, Asian, Italian, American and Indian influences, beyond South African flavours.
