Chef Terrell Manning

Dr. Terrell Manning, who received an honorary doctorate degree in recognition of his research into men’s health, years of community service, and entrepreneurship, is a professional chef, best-selling author, TV personality, and founder of Manning Catering Company, based in St. Petersburg, Florida. With over 20 years of culinary experience, Manning is celebrated for his ability to craft preservative-free, diabetic-friendly dishes inspired by his family’s battle with diabetes and hypertension.

He is a multi-award-winning chef, including Chef of the Year, and has cooked for professional athletes, billionaires, celebrities, and double-platinum music artists, including the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Montreal Canadiens. Recently, he became a host for the roadshow Americas Best Restaurants and continues to inspire through his international culinary flair.

Known for his passion for education and innovation, Manning teaches courses on private chef marketing, TV appearances, and building a six-figure career. He is also developing a new Southern all-purpose seasoning line, “Chef’s Secret Blend.” Additionally, he co-leads Pro-X Foods, a brand focused on healthy, accessible meal options, and partners with Chef Anthony Johnson on “Hats Off To Dining Catering.”

Manning’s contributions to the culinary and business worlds have earned him numerous accolades, including the Top 40 Under 40 Business Leaders Award and The Gratitude Advocate Award from the John Ughulu Foundation, where he will be honored with The Morale Booster Award at a ceremony on December 14, 2024. He will also speak at the Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival on February 15, sharing insights on Black men’s health.
