I'm a professional with high standards that loves preparing culturally authentic cuisine
I am a professional chef with 20 years of experience in the culinary world. I studied and graduated from Connecticut Culinary Institute in 2007. I've worked in restaurants since I was 18 years of age. In 2010, I opened my own restaurant named Cast Iron Soul and we were in business until 2015. In 2016, I opened another restaurant named Smokin Skillet and I was in business until 2017. After I closed Smokin Skillet I took a position as Executive Chef at New Haven Connecticut's oldest bar, The Anchor Spa. In 2019, I was the Culinary Consultant for a start up named Bomb Wing and Rice Bar (Hamden, CT) which is a small chicken and fried rice take out location. I created the menu, recipes and systems. I was also the the Culinary Consultant for another start-up named Jazzy's Cabaret (New Haven, CT) in which I created all menus, recipes and systems. I'm currently an Executive Chef at a prestigious University here in Connecticut under the Compass Group. I'm also a member of the American Culinary Federation
