Chef Simone Simone

Chef Simone combines her family's love for food and beverage with her passion for nutrition, classic training, and bold ingredients to create the magic that is Simone's Green Kitchen!

A native of Detroit Michigan, where her father owned and operated their family's once popular Green's Barbeque Open Pit. Simone has always been surrounded by amazing food and incredible Chefs. Never shying away from unfamiliar foods or cuisines; he naturally followed in her Dad's footsteps and enrolled in Johnson and Wales University in Providence Rhode Island. After her completion she returned to Michigan where she worked as a Sous Chef for Neiman Marcus's Zodiac Cafe in Troy. Unable to ignore the need for change Simone moved to Miami, Florida where for more than eight years she was engulfed in the city's ever evolving Culinary scene. Working at some of Miami’s premiere restaurants like CATCH, The Forge, and Lime Fresh Mexican Grill. In 2016 Simone was presented with another adventure and this particular adventure took her to Boston! Since her arrival here she has worked at Barcelona Wine Bar and Dig Inn. It was during her time with Dig Inn that she was able to hone in on her passions.

She created Simone's Green Kitchen in 2019, where she pairs her love for traditional recipes, fresh as well as seasonal offerings and flavors with nutrition. Focusing on the integrity of each ingredient so that it may be thoroughly savored by anyone enjoying one of her meals.
