Chef Sidney Semedo
Personal Chef In El PortalSidney Semedo was born in Cape Verde Island, a small country off the west coast of Africa. When he moved to Boston in 2003, he was looking to find his identity, and found it in a kitchen, where could be creative and express himself through food.
His passion for cooking morphed into a career pursuit and he was soon enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Boston. Sidney dedicated his life to fine dining, while continuing to improve his skills and knowledge in the hospitality industry. he developed his career with some of the most prestigious hotels, restaurants, and private clubs throughout the Boston, and around the US; l'espalier, Sel de la terre, The Mandarin Oriental, Beacon Grille, Harvard Club of Boston and ClubCorp. he was the Executive Chef & Director of Restaurant Operations for Marriott Hotels, and managed properties with 3 or more restaurants in 3 different states. Most recently, he was one of Executive Chef of Encore Boston Harbor.
