Well-versed in many cuisines, however Italian is very close to my heart & the bulk of my experience.
I am currently a chef instructor in a retail space with 3 kitchens. Over 20 years of my life was dedicated to restaurants, with the bulk of that time in a chef role. I spent 7 years teaching high school culinary arts. Schooling was quite diverse, as well. I have a bachelor’s in art education from the University of Kansas, an associate’s in culinary arts from The Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago, & a master’s degree in career & technical education from Pittsburg State University. I enjoy spending time with my daughter & going to concerts in my downtime.
