Chef Sahar Sahar

Hi, my name is Sahar! I was born and raised in Los Angeles, where the rich and diverse food culture shaped my love for cooking. After graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education, I worked at Saltie Girl, a renown seafood spot in Los Angeles, where I learned a lot about the art of creating simple but elevated dishes.

Before becoming a chef, I worked in retail operations, but my passion for food led me to change careers. Now, as a personal chef, I focus on creating dishes that reflect my LA roots, blending flavors and styles from the city’s vibrant food scene. Whether it’s grilled fish tacos with avocado cream and citrus slaw, mushroom carnitas for a vegetarian twist, or lamb chops with yogurt sauce, I love working with fresh, bold ingredients to create flavorful and comforting meals.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you can usually find me learning to surf or practicing hot yoga—two activities that help me relax and stay balanced. I believe food should do the same, and I enjoy bringing that balance to the table through thoughtful, creative, and nourishing meals that reflect my journey as a chef.
