My memories of learning to cook with my grandmother in her state of the art kitchen,for its time, on a plantation in Louisiana are phenomenal! She was a talented self taught "foodie" before anyone called it that. She encouraged and inspired me. After my divorce I put myself through culinary school to provide myself independent income, it was the smartest thing I ever did! I want to share my love for cooking with an individual or family after having also on-the- job training at several high end restaurants.
