Life is about expression. I have expressed myself through writing, speaking and getting my hands dirty in many things in life. I spent 10 years as a professional accountant that led me to run a global division of a major Wall Street firm, where I spent 18 years, managing risk, then setting up multiple businesses and departments, and then for the next 18 years setting up my own companies.

Nothing, however, felt more authentic than expressing myself through cooking. I not only cooked for extended family, but also hosted as many as 100 people to an array of dishes inspired by my mother's Sindhi (province of old India) food. I left home when I was 17, and when I came to the US 43 years ago, I did not even know how to fry an egg! I truly enjoy the outlet that cooking gives me, and while my kids have always encouraged me to quit my job and start a restaurant business, or compete in Masterchef or other food shows, I have not felt the move in that direction.

This was by far one of the most fun evenings we have ever had....and that is because of Chef Raju. Not only was the food amazing, the history behind each dish and the preparation details were fascinating. Raju is such a kind and personable man. He made the evening relaxed and filled with laughter and fun. Not to mention the food was some of the best we have ever tasted. We would highly recommend him in all regards! It was just a blast!!
