Born and raised in Hawaii has given me the opportunity to experience such a diverse culture. I also study and taste different wines and can do wine pairing dinners. Chef Norman was fantastic. He prepared three dinners for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. He tailored the menu to make sure it suited everyone’s taste, and the food was absolutely exceptional. The two kids who never eat anything came back for seconds and thirds. While the kids ate the food, the dishes were complex, sophisticated and great for adults. We had a great time with Chef Norman and highly recommend him.

Chef was flexible, mixing plates that appealed to a range of guests. He also made good wine pairing suggestions

Chef Norman Asao created a meal for our family that was simply wonderful. He was organized, friendly, kind, and attentive to every detail. With a wide variety of ages in our group, Chef Norman made certain that everyone had an enjoyable dinner. This experience was amazing and well received.

Chef Norman was excellent. He was extremely kind, personable and funny. He came prepared and we were all able to just relax and wait for his delicious meal. The menu was diverse and had a wide range of ingredients and flavors that tied together perfectly. 10/10

Chef Norman was great from start to finish! Would highly recommend if you are in Hawaii. We were in Hawaii for my son’s wedding and we used Chef Norman to provide a private meal in our VRBO home. He explained dishes that allowed me to make decisions on the menu. He was very thorough and communicated very well. He arrived a little late, but he keep us posted so that was not an issue. The entire dinner, especially plating and flavors, were excellent. And the clean up was a dream! Great experience that I would highly recommend.

Norman was a wonderful chef. He was communicative and professional. The food was amazing. Tasty, high quality, and healthy. He was very thoughtful in tailoring the menu and making adjustments to accommodate kids and food limitations and preferences. We would definitely work with Norman again. This was an amazing experience and taste of Hawaii!

Chef Norman was amazing. Prior to our dinner he was very responsive to all of my questions. His menu was incredible. Everything he served he explained. The food was like nothing we’ve eaten before. The flavors and presentation were outstanding. I would recommend chef Norman to everyone!!!!

Chef Norman was amazing! A professional from start to finish, he was particularly flexible in adapting to the modest airbnb kitchen and cooking for a large group. He came very well prepared and it was a pleasure to see our entire meal prepared from scratch. We enjoyed every course tremendously and our guests were very impressed.
