Chef Nicholas Guzzo

Born and raised in Denver, CO and have always had a passion for cooking/good food. Before I held any professional cooking positions, I was taught the basics of cooking from each of my parents. My mom taught my about balanced meals, always serving beautiful plates with lots of color and healthy choices. My dad taught me a more indulgent side of food, with more of a "meat and potatoes" basis. Combined, I received a healthy start to my food education.

As an adult, my very first cooking job was in a high-end bowling alley, serving much more than the typical "snack-shack" type of food you'd expect from a bowling alley. We provided a full-fledged catering service. This is where I began to learn about an all-day style of cooking, and cooking for large groups of people. Eventually I became a catering chef, cooking fro the largest profile touring musicians as they come through Denver. I cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner at all the biggest venues in Colorado, including Red Rocks, Ball Arena, Mission Ballroom, and more. Basically any large touring musician coming to town, I cooked for them.
