Her classical training is from the Culinary Institute of Virginia. She has also obtained her bachelor’s degree in Management from Coppin State University. Chef Cloud has worked for the renowned Walt Disney World Resort as well as the Rec Pier Chop House and B&O American Brasserie in Baltimore, MD. In 2015 Chef Cloud started Maddie’s Kitchen named after her lovely daughter, Madison. In 2018 she launched The Once Experience, a magical dining experience. 2019 Chef Cloud had the privilege of cooking for the DC Grammy listening party. She has studied under award winning chefs such as Andrew Carmellini and Michael Reidt. Chef Cloud has cooked for political figures Pete Buttigieg, Mary Washington, and Michelle Obama. Chef Cloud has several publications including Magnolia Rouge, Gay Weddings and Marriage Magazine, ElegantWedding.com, The Coordinated Bride Blog, and Black Gay Weddings.
