Chef Mucari Finley has been working
at the Detroit Athletic Club since
2014. He has grown from a prep cook
to become a Sous Chef in 2018. In his
time there, he has dedicated his time
to training and overseeing a staff
of 10+ line cooks of varying ages,
backgrounds and skill levels. While
being a Chef at the consecutive two
time #1 Club in America, he has put a special focus on creating rotating seasonal menus, menu costing, and innovative classic & modern techniques; all while expanding his knowledge on various types of cuisine including the Art that is Pastry.
Mentored and guided by Master Chef Shawn Loving, Mucari went to Schoolcraft College in 2014 where he received his Culinary Arts Degree. After graduating he returned to Schoolcraft College where he received his Bachelors of Science in Culinary Management & Dietary Operations.
