Get to know me better

Passionate Chef with a strive for perfection.

My name is Morgan and I'm a chef and Registered Dietitan. As a young boy I found myself gravitating towards the kitchen, learning from my mom and helping to prepare meals for our large family. I continued to learn as much as I could and eventually found myself in the culinary program at Utah Valley University. While there I was able to learn the fundamentals, technical and traditional techniques used in the kitchen as well as gain an en-depth knowledge of the different cuisines and flavor profiles around the world.

I have a strong passion for both food and nutrition. I have cooked for many different professional athletes, helping them to achieve their performance goals. I love sports, and combining my knowledge of food and nutrition has helped be become successful cooking for athletes.

I was able to take the knowledge I had from school as well as my ten plus years in the industry and apply it to my job at the largest catering company in Utah. I was responsible for running the entire kitchen as well as menu development. It was a wonderful and challenging experience. I was able to work with many different clients with many different requests and needs. We planned menus and catered for large corporate events, private tasting parties, as well as weddings small and large. Some of the unique menus I created were; an Asian menu with Brazilian influences, fresh sushi prepared table side, traditional Indian wedding menu, modern menus utilizing my interest in molecular gastronomy, gourmet hors' dourves and bite size menus. To the more traditional; farm to table, southern BBQ, family style, and Italian menus.

I understand how food can bring people together and help make memories. I would love the opportunity to share my love and passion of food with you.
