I hired Chef Mike, but ultimately - due to personal issues - his executive chef, Sean, had to step in and gave us an amazing meal. Even though I found out Sean was taking over the night before the event, he immediately put me at ease with his communicativeness and upbeat attitude. He was very flexible and open to collaboration when it came to the menu. He was great at reading the room and was well liked by everyone. Not to mention, the food was delicious! The quality of the ingredients was superb. We wanted variety and he gave us sushi and an assortment of flatbreads in addition to three different options of proteins for the main dish. He left the kitchen the way he found it plus some leftovers like a large filet of sushi-grade salmon (Sean, if you’re reading this, please tell me where you got it!). To no one’s surprise reading this review, I’d hire Sean again in a heartbeat.

Chef Michael had a last minute emergency, so he sent two others from his company - Bayron and Roberto, and WOW! THEY WERE AMAZING. Not only was every course perfectly plated and delicious, but the two of them were so kind and professional - true joys to be around. It was one of the highlights of our weekend, and all of our guests did not stop talking about their culinary experience. We will definitely look to Michael and Take a Chef for similar experiences in the future!
