Bio:

As a recipient of several generations of cooking expertise, Celebrity Chef MiMi J now brings her own brand of culinary delight to the forefront. Having been featured on The Food Network, Spike TV, CBS, FOX, and ABC, she continues to create splendid, sophisticated cuisine that appeals to a variety of palates.

Deciding to leave the corporate world in 2015, Chef MiMi honed her skills through a myriad of culinary venues. Her experiences range from a consulting chef for a venture capitalist group to a instructor with Sur La Table. Her appetite for cooking excellence was further enhanced while working alongside some of the top chefs in the DFW.

Chef Meika exceeded my expectations. She was super nice, very thorough and was punctual. My baby's birthday surprise was beyond perfect as she was the one who suggested that I tell him to come over to so that he could be a part of the experience. Her explanation of the dishes were thorough and the presentation was amazing. She made great use of my space and was so so sweet and professional. I loved the fact that she was very clean and sanitary. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to get a personal chef in the Dallas area. Bravo! I'm so glad that I found Take a Chef.

Chef Mimi was a pleasure to work with! The food was outstanding, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and complex flavors. She was professional, personable, and really creative with her dishes.
