I grew up in Chicago, where nothing came easy and every dream felt just out of reach. As a kid, I learned early what it meant to hustle,to stretch a dollar, to outwork the odds, to fight the weight of poverty one day at a time. But in the middle of all that noise, I found my rhythm in the kitchen. What started as survival turned into skill, and skill became passion. I worked harder than everyone else long nights, no shortcuts, no handouts until the boy who grew up with nothing became a chef who built everything with his own two hands. Every dish I created is proof that you can turn struggle into art, and hunger into something beautiful.
