Born and raised in communist Romania where ingredients were sparse to say the least, I started learning how to make tasty and filling meals with the little my family had at the tender age of 6, in my maternal grandmother's kitchen. At 12 I made my first big meal on my own and I never looked back. In 1992 I left Romania and before coming to America, traveled to both France and Germany. In France, especially Paris, a whole new world of tastes and ingredients I never even knew existed was opened up to me and I realized my love of food and cooking was quickly becoming a passion. Once in America, I spent every spare minute reading about food, learning about the different cuisines of the world, watching cooking shows and reading cook books to learn more about flavors and techniques and, in my kitchen, I experimented with new ingredients I'd never even seen before. Throughout all of this my passion grew and translated onto every plate I filled. Today, I am the chef/owner of Culinary Immersion Supper Club, an elegant, multi course 5 star dinner club, offered in my clients' homes. My team and I make it possible for my clients to be guests at their own parties! Set the table, bring your favorite wine and enjoy the multi course, custom menu I prepare from scratch for you and your guests, with only the best possible ingredients available! And if you want your party to be even more memorable, allow me to create a themed dinner with a subject of your choosing! A fun, "whodunit" murder mystery, a culinary trip around the world with each dish inspired by a different country or any theme you may have in mind, your event will be an experience your guests will love and not forget!
