Chef At Home In CharlotteI'm a chef of 24 years by way of Warren, Ohio. I've been in Charlotte, N.C. for 13 years. I'm a alumni of Johnson and Wales and Howard Universities respectfully. My culinary journey has been more than I could have asked for. I have worked with Emeril Lagasse(E2), Jamie Lynch(5Church), and Scott Wallen (Upstream). I am grateful for my years of experience that I have gained from working with these internationally known chefs. I'm also grateful for their expertise that they have shared with me. They have enabled me to have a broad culinary range. My cooking is built from several different cuisines: African(North and Western), Spain, Creole, French, Japanese, American contemporary, Italian, Latin, and of course our ever beloved Southern. I believe that food has no boundaries and there’s life in creation. Food brings life. It brings excitement. Most importantly food brings us together. I love seeing people happy. A smell or taste can bring upon nostalgia, so it's not just about eating. It’s about eating to live.
