Koumba, a private chef of Guinean heritage, brings the rich flavors of West African cuisine to life. With a passion for celebrating African culture, she blends traditional techniques with contemporary culinary styles.
Her signature dishes include:
1-Jollof Rice (meat of choice)
2-Rice and Peanut Stew (with chicken or meat of your choice)
3-Chicken Yassa (braised chicken in caramelized onions)
4-Cassava/Potato Leaf Stew (with chicken, fish, or meat of choice)
Drinks: Natural ginger juice, tamarind juice, and hibiscus juice, all naturally sweetened with cane sugar.
Starters:
1-Plantain chips with mango sauce
2-Seasoned fried grated cassava
3-Kouti – a unique local specialty of manioc seasoned with salt and pepper, served with a spicy tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, and optional chili. Paired with salmon and bay leaves, it offers a savory taste of tradition with a modern touch.
