Growing up with food as the core of every family function. I've developed the love of cooking early on. I have a passion for my ethnic southeast asian cuisine, particularly Laotian, Thai & Vietnamese.

Beginning in 2006 I fell in love with the art of sushi . I continued on developing my skills through various professional kitchens. I joined the Take a Chef team in 2017 and has had the pleasure of cooking for the public.

As an avid gardener, sustainability and locally sourced products is what makes up much of my cuisine.

Chef Keo was amazing! Great communication, incredible food, beautiful presentation...he even went above and beyond to make modified dishes for our toddler.

We had Chef Keo come out to our AirBNB on July 13th to prepare a memorable dinner for a group of 8 friends, and we all walked away with only the best things to say about him. Chef was very kind, professional, upbeat and did an amazing job preparing everyone's dinner. We started with hand rolled sushi in which Chef prepared it to perfection; had a mix of vegetarian rolls, sashimi (tuna and salmon), crab roll, avocado & tuna and an eggplant roll that was different than other rolls I had ever had before but was absolutely delicious. We then moved on to 2 different types of spring rolls and some Asian meatballs, then we finished with the short ribs with gnocchi. Our dessert was the mango sticky rice and it blew everyones socks off with how tasty it was. Highly recommend that dish as well. Every dish had edible, decorative flowers on them and the group took multiple pictures of the food because it was prepared so well. Chef had an incredible personal story about where he was born and how he was raised (please do ask him) and did a flawless job cleaning up after he was finished. If we visit Napa/Sonoma again and elect to do a personal Chef, we would call Keo back in a heart beat. Thank you for a memorable dinner Chef.

Chef Keo was absolutely fantastic. He arrived on time (even with some less than clear directions to our Airbnb) and brought us a one of a kind, native to the area beer. He brought everything he needed and got to work. Very efficient in the kitchen. All of the food was prepared wonderfully and plated in such a gorgeous way. We were blown away from our experience with Keo and will go out of our way to ensure he prepares us dinner again.

Keo prepared a fantastic meal for us- each dish had incredible flavors and all of the ingredients were of the highest, fresh quality. Our particular favorites were the ahi tuna spring rolls and steamed cabbage turkey dim sum. Keo also gave us an additional off-menu course of melt in your mouth hamachi seasoned perfectly in a meyer lemon sauce with edamame. Because one person has a dairy allergy he prepared a dairy free mango sticky rice dessert which was also delicious. Thank you Keo for a great evening !

Chef Keo was absolutely amazing! His food was outstanding. I would most definitely recommend him to everyone!

We had a wonderful experience with Keo We hired him for a team building dinner at our company retreat (8 people on our team). Keo was super responsive from moment one, provided creative menu options and was so flexible and helpful. He did a sushi demo class for and then helped us roll their own. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and fun! Our team loved it! Would highly recommend Keo!

Chef Keo was awesome. We have two young children, and not only did he make meals for them, but he also was extremely patient and attentive to their timing and needs. We had to pause the dinner to put the kids down, and he was able to work with us on timing. The kitchen was cleaner when he left. Great explanation of dishes, and the food was fantastic. Better than many high end tasting menus, and amazing he can do it at your house!

We loved Chef Keo. He was super friendly, great collaboration on the menu, accommodating with our requests, and great conversation while prepping for the appetizers. Loved the flavors and presentation, he left the kitchen cleaner than he found it and was very discreet. We had a wonderful experience!

Chef Keo was extraordinary in both talent and professionalism; he communicated thoroughly in the days leading up to the meal and was able to accommodate various dietary preferences. The day of, he not only had to contend with a record-breaking heatwave but also a power outage that occurred right in the middle of preparation and continued through the dinner's service. He took it all in stride and came prepared with a head lamp, managing to finish the meal using the gas cooktop and a grill on the deck outside. My mom commented that the spring rolls were the best she has ever eaten in her life. I was blown away by his inventive play on a vegetarian poke bowl and mushroom scallops. Keo was warm, yet not overbearing, and gave us space to enjoy the meal. We even had delicious food leftover for the next day. In the end, our "East Asian Culinary Adventure" was truly memorable.
