Even the most nourishing and nutrient-packed meals should evoke a sense of whimsy.
Katerina grew up in her family’s restaurant in Somerville, MA. She combines a lifelong commitment to hospitality with an academic background focused on food systems in her writing, cooking, and event production. She worked at restaurants like Wildair and King in the City and served the Hudson Valley while working as a chef at the Old Chatham Country Store. She has a lot of lived experience with dietary restrictions and is eager to make her clients feel well :)
She earned a B.A. in enviornmental studies from New York University and a M.A. in applied gastronomy from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo Italy. She has cooked in Italy, Iceland, and New York City. She has written for publications like the Guardian, Boston Globe and This is Mold. Katerina curated a chef in residence program last summer at the Old Chatham Country Store in Old Chatham, NY. She looks forward to cooking for you.
