Get to know me better

Joseph Foriska's passion is rooted in food and systems. From farm to table, he is a permaculture enthusiast, and in the kitchen an epicurean artist.

Joseph is a systems and management specialist working across many sectors of the food industry.

He founded and served as executive chef at Fleur de Lys, a French-inspired fine dining restaurant on San Juan Island. Earlier, he served as sous chef at Vinny’s Restaurant and Duck Soup. Joseph has also served as food and beverage purchasing manager at Roche Harbor Resort. During his tenure, the wine program at McMillin’s Dining Room was consecutively awarded Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence.

Joseph has also led food education initiatives including team building through food within corporate culture. And his work includes designing classes, to products to food pairings.
