I am a professional chef for 17 years. Have worked as chef/caretaker/farmer/gardener for the Isabella Gardner family on their private island farm off the coast of Maine. I have worked as a yacht chef for fly fishing charters in the Bahamas and off the coast of Louisiana near the Chandelier Islands. I have also worked in top tier fine dining establishments focusing on local/seasonal ingredients, working diligently with local farmers and purveyors. Focus on coursed smaller plates and tasting menus, yet love large format family style service as well. Traveled and seasoned.

For me, cooking is...

My obsession. I never want to stop learning. It is what drives me to continue to push my abilities and passion for my field.

I learned to cook at...

I went to National Culinary Institute in San Diego, CA and from there worked in some top tier fine dining establishments, such as Canlis in Seattle.

A cooking secret...

Never boxing myself into a specific cuisine. I am very flexible and malleable when it comes to my approach with aggressive flavors.
