I am a recent graduate of Marist College with a degree in biology, but my true passion lies in cooking. I have been honing my skills in the kitchen for over 15 years and have gained hands-on experience working as a butcher at Rossi and Son's Alimentari in Poughkeepsie, NY, as a line cook at Lolita's Pizza in Poughkeepsie, NY, and as a recipe developer at Saratoga Olive Oil Co., Saratoga Springs, NY.
While I do not have formal culinary school training, my experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of various cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and ingredient pairings. I am confident in my ability to create delicious and innovative dishes that will leave a lasting impression on your taste buds. I have been running an Instagram blog under the username 'thebrookskitchen' for the past 2-3 years, the account really showcases my cooking abilities and the type of food I like to make.
