I'm a Professional Chef from Spain specializing in Mediterranean and Spanish classics with moroccan flare. Paella Master & The Best Cheesecake...EVER!
I was born and raised in Morocco, but lived half my life in Spain. I've trained and practiced my skills in the kitchen from Barcelona to Madrid, from the beaches of valencia to the island of Menorca. I have worked with and learned from some of the top talent in Spain, with experience ranging from high volume, fast-paced downtown restaurants to more subtle and intimate private events for families and friends.
most recently, since moving to America I have opened two businesses, PhillyTapas (temporary) and Basqake bringing the beloved Spanish classics like paella and tapas to the states. my Basque style cheesecake has been critically acclaimed by Craig La Ban as "an absolute fork magnet" in the Philly inquirer.
