Chef Garrick Hisamoto

I am a classically trained chef with over 20 years of experience. Worked in and around the LA area under celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, where I was an opening Sous Chef at the Dolby (formerly Kodak) theater home to the Oscars, movie premiers, live concerts and several high end catering events, opened Loggia restaurant with Wolfgang Corporate Chef Lee Hefter. Led the kitchen at the Riviera Country Club, home of the PGA tour event, LA Open where we catered to Hollywood royalty and and some of the top professional athletes in the world including Tiger Woods, the LA Lakers, Sylvester Stallone and many others. I also have extensive experience in contract food service, I teamed up with Magic Johnson at Disneyland Resorts to sell SodexoMagic for Disney Cast member dining services.

Growing up in a Japanese / American house with strong Hawaiian influence, I began my training with cooking lessons from grandma and mom, combine that with my professional experience, I now create food that is comforting, authentic and current. I have learned traditional flavors and techniques from chefs from across the globe and am able to execute regional menus with traditional ingredients and flavor profiles.
