I am Elgin, a professional chef based in Hollywood, Florida. I excel in crafting exquisite meals for private gatherings, dinners, and special events. Boasting 19 years of culinary experience, I possess the skill and professionalism required to ensure the success of any occasion. My journey began at Loews Miami Beach Hotel in 2005, under the tutelage of Chef Mark Erler. It was a privilege to work in a distinguished hotel where the Food Network held its annual Food and Wine festival tribute dinner. After moving back to my home state of Maryland, I joined the team at Chef Jean Georges Steakhouse at the W Hotel DC, working for several years under Chef Phillip. My path then led me to the St Regis Bal Harbour Hotel, where I continued at the Jean George Grill restaurant. My dedication soon earned me a promotion to Culinary Supervisor at the St Regis, along with The Astor Award for that quarter. I also had the honor of representing St Regis Bal Harbour as a nominee for Culinarian of the Year at The 25th Annual Inn Key Awards by the Greater Miami & the Beaches Hotel Association. My focus and drive have always been centered in the kitchen.
