Private Chef In DurhamI have been working as a chef for over 20 years in high-profile restaurants in Chicago, Orlando and Durham. I have worked in fine-dining kitchens, high-volume kitchens and casual kitchens - but all high-level kitchens. Through the years, I have fine-tuned my style of cuisine which I would describe as highly seasonal, focusing on North American and Latin American fare. I concentrate on highlighting the flavors of the freshest ingredients and keep my dishes simple and balanced, yet well-seasoned. I prefer to source my ingredients directly from local farms, when possible, and have developed lasting friendships with many of the farmers.
I have been featured on the Food Network and The Travel Channel, highlighting my specialty dishes. I also earned and maintained Michelin Bib Gourmand for Dove's Luncheonette, a neighborhood restaurant in Chicago. My friend and mentor is Chef Paul Kahan, winner of the James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Chef award.
