I am a Chicago native from a family with roots in southern cooking, specifically from Memphis and New Orleans. I started cooking at the young age of seven and was taught to work with fresh ingredients bursting with flavor. Growing up, I learned that cooking comes from the heart, while the techniques are honed through education. I have been fortunate to receive training from renowned chefs and have created nutrition-focused programs for urban youth. From a young age, I have cooked for various notable individuals, including dignitaries, celebrities, and athletes. Cooking has always brought me joy, whether in the kitchen or at the grocery store. I pursued formal culinary education and gained hands-on experience working on the line. If I could choose one thing to do for the rest of my life, it would undoubtedly be cooking. I thrive in private chef roles, but I also appreciate the challenge and fulfillment of working on a restaurant line.
