My love for cooking came from my mother . Growing up in Puerto Rico everything was with in arms reach of fresh produce . Even our choice of protein was in or back yard . My mother could make anything in to something. I’ve always worked in fine dinning restaurants in NYC . I learned a lot from a lot of great chefs some well known , some never even heard about . I finally decided to make it a career and turns out I’m great at it and love it . I’ve come to understand feeding people is the most intimate thing you can do . They are trusting you to put something into thier body . I love you to make flavors , to make the color POP from your plate . I want you to remember the taste of the food years to come . My joy is seeing the another human enjoy what I have presented for them . I want it to be a story full of emotions after they leave a dinner from me . Food should be a separate emotion with all emotions involved . I have feed people all across the U.S. from NYC to Arizona ( Wigwam resorts, Executive chef ) , Colorado ( Crested Butte Ski resort , Executive chef ) as well as Telluride Ski resort ) Executive chef for Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi . Executive chef for the # 6 steak house in Texas .
