Collin has always had a passion for culinary arts. Starting as a prep cook at age 15, the decision was made to turn passion into a career. He continued working in kitchens and in 2008 started culinary school at Culinary Academy of Austin. After graduating, he worked through a multitude of restaurants across the Austin area. From fast casual to fine dining, bbq to bakeries, he has taken in everything the Austin culinary scene has to offer. With extensive catering experience through events and restaurants, Collin decided to expand his career to include work as a personal chef.

Chef Collin done an amazing job. We planned the evening very last minute and wasn't sure we would get any proposals, and his was the first to come. The menu looked great so we accepted and he was here the next day. He explained each dish in detail and the presentation was great. There was certain foods such as blue cheese that I normally wouldn't eat, but left them on the menu because my spouse enjoys it. However, when I gave it a try the flavor profile paired with the dish amazingly and I found myself actually enjoying it instead of picking it out or eating around it (yes, I'm admittedly a picky eater). We had asked from the start of the chef was ok with us dining at the kitchen island to observe the cooking and prep process as we find it fascinating which of course he was all for, and he talked us through a lot of what he was doing, which made for a fully interactive and educational evening that we absolutely enjoyed. We will absolutely be looking to use Chef Collin again in the future.

The food was outstanding. Kitchen was cleaner afterwards. No mess to deal with and food was great.
