NaNa’s Jerk Paradise’s CEO LaSandra Armstrong attended Robert Morris University in 2014 where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. She continued her education at Governors State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Applied Science in 2018. After earning her degrees, she went to work for daycares and corporate kitchens to gain more experience with plating, catering parties, food portioning, and also learned more about maintaining food allergy control. Through this experience, she developed skills such as plating, presentation, creativity, and team work.
LaSandra continues to build her experience through meal prep, catering, and cooking courses that she offers to all. LaSandra is currently working diligently on her craft, and soon will be traveling across the U.S. and beyond to provide her cooking, catering and personal chef services.
