Being a self taught chef of Mexican American heritage my passion for my traditional cuisines fuses with my creative desire to expand flavors in new and unique directions. Learning cooking with my mother from a young age, I still remember the aromas of the first time she let me help in the kitchen that sparked my passion to create flavorful food to share with others. To honor my heritage I love adding spice and Mexican flavors to my food to give it that spice of life. My desire to take and evolve traditional meals like tamales and expand them with my unique twist has led to some of my favorite creations.
