Hello!
My name is Avery and I am a chef, culinary instructor, and mixologist that works out of Los Angeles and Las Vegas an as well as NYC in the summer.
I have spent most of my life teaching myself leading to learning from and working for a few different private chefs.
I am very comfortable with traditional feel good foods, casual to fine dining.
I love vegetables and working with what’s in season. I like keeping this fresh.
My favorite dishes to cook are ones with bold flavors that I can mix together like I do with my paint pallet. I look a lot of Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Mediterranean, French- you name it :)
I have a strong knowledge of gluten free, vegan, paleo, and keto cooking and can calculate nutritional facts for meal prep.
I love to create menus with clients, whether we collaborate on one or I’m handed the reins. Sharing my love of fine cuisine and creative skills in the kitchen with others makes my heart smile.

Mostly self taught. later on the Plantlab in Venice 2016, then became a private chef’s full time sous chef in Kailua, Oahu.
