Andy is an Italian trained chef who studied in Rome, Italy. Committed to the practices of sustainability, he learned the importance of local ingredients and the slow food movement. His goal is to tell a story through his food and to create a sense of community around dining.
With experiences ranging from restaurants in the Pacific Northwest, from Seattle to the San Juan islands, Andy has developed the skills to prepare seasonal produce in a multitude of settings.
The Land in Kauai is so richly covered in sunshine and its produce is abundantly nurturing. Andy’s food showcases the raw beauty of these ingredients, his goal being to do as little to them as possible.
Hawaii is home to some incredible restaurants. The challenge on Kauai is that the most popular restaurants often require reservations with a significant notice and are crowded.
Chef Andys business Sandys Supper Club was founded with the belief that he can provide an intimate dining service to those living on or visiting the island. It’s about bringing the dining experience to the guest.
He source's all of his food locally within the Hawaiian islands, spending a significant amount of time working with local farms to source the product for your event.
His menu is about celebrating the fish, meat, produce & tropical fruit of Kauai. Each menu is carefully crafted to the guests needs.
Ultimately Andy's hope is that real local food prepared with love and intention can be celebrated. The philosophy at Sandys Supper Club is to treat both our guests and food with respect.
