Obsesses over the small stuff because cooking for you and having you enjoy your special evening creates memories worthy of obsession!

Imagine yourself in a dinner party of friends and everyone's oohing and ahhing- it's because you've just hired the chef that will prepare the most memorable food experience in Palm Springs.

I'm a recently retired educator and French Culinary Institute (ICC) graduate who spent time training in a variety of NYC Michelin star restaurants. I've trained under chefs like Peter Hoffman, (Savoy), John Fraser (Dovetail) and Carlo Mirarchi (Roberta's and Blanca) among others, and have been devoting recent years to catering to clients for small group and private events. I'm trained in Classical French, but my specialties are authentic Italian, Mediterranean, farm to table, new American, vegetarian and vegan, among others-I'm especially good at making authentic, delicious pizza in your very fancy backyard pizza oven or my traveling barbecue size brick oven! I've spent time in professional development in Florence, Italy and bread making at the International Culinary Center because learning is lifelong. Let's learn together! My home bases are Brooklyn, NY and Palm Springs CA.

I specialize in collaborating with you to create deliciously engaging and fun small group dinner parties and themed backyard parties. Among them: pizza parties and barbecues featuring mouthwatering smoked brisket that people will be talking about for weeks afterward.

Join me with your friends, family or bridal parties for my 'Culinary Coaching' private events (you can do it!) and make your own home fresh pasta parties, crusty french or artisan bread, and pizza better than the pizzaiola down the block, not to mention handmade cheese making and even how to use that fancy espresso machine you just bought-let me share my love of coffee!.  

For your private evenings whether it's 2 or 10 guests, enjoy fabulous steak, lamb, poultry, mouthwatering duck and fish specialties cooked traditional-style or sous vide; either way they'll be tender inside and have a perfect mouth watering restaurant-quality crust on the outside.
