Get to know me better

I am most passionate about food & art.

Chef Alex Bolar, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, is now based in Los Angeles, California. After spending a year at Fort Valley State University with an undeclared major, Alex took a semester off and discovered his passion for the culinary arts. He subsequently earned his culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu Atlanta.

Chef Alex gained valuable experience working at several notable restaurants in Atlanta, including Better Half, Ticonderoga Club, and South City Kitchen. In 2017, he launched his own pop-up dining experience, “Eclair,” which he successfully operated until 2020.

In March 2020, Chef Alex relocated to Los Angeles to further pursue his dream of owning a restaurant. He aspires to specialize in American cuisine with a strong Southern influence.
