Personal Chef In OaklandI was born and raised in Rome, Lazio, where I spent most of my life. My education comes from hotel and management school, but I consider my training to come from my experiences working for the best Michelin star chefs in Rome.
At 24 I decided to travel far from home to the United States in order to pursue a new experience. I chose San Francisco for its beauty and the unbelievable food knowledge of its patrons and workers. I moved here 20 years ago and after working in the city for five years, I decided to open my own place. After searching for almost a year I found this beautiful gem in the financial district across the street of the Transamerica pyramid building. It was here I envisioned my restaurant, Chiaroscuro opened for a decade. Then I moved my culinary experience in Oakland with a more contemporary and casual concept. In the past five years I been doing personal chef in houses and catering around the Bay Area
