I am a professional young chef with 8+ years of experience in culinary arts. I started cooking when I was 17 years old as a pastry and bakery cook. To further my career, I decided to continue my education in the culinary field at Les Roches International Hospitality Management School in Jordan, then I moved to Chicago to pursue a Bachelor degree in culinary arts at Kendall College in Chicago. For my experience, I worked at two Movenpick Hotels in Jordan as chef de partie, I also worked at the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts as a culinary instructor. After I moved to the USA, I worked at Seven Lions restaurant in Chicago, and I worked at Aventura Spanish restaurant in Ann Arbor. Currently, I am the owner and executive chef of MAK middle eastern street food.
I am a very creative and modern chef with a strong culinary fundamentals and a very strong pastry and bakery background. I am very efficient, clean, and organized chef who always pays attention to time management, cost control, portion control and food sourcing.
I am SERVSAFE certified and a certified nutritionist.
