Cooking is my favorite thing to do. It is my passion and my calling

I have been working in fine dining kitchens for around 11 years, ranging from the Ordinary in Charleston, to Eleven Madison Park, Le Coucou and One White Street here in the city. Most recently I was the Executive chef at Maison Sun. I specialize in French cuisine, but I am able to cook in most styles. I enjoy cooking haute cuisine tasting menus just as much as I like cooking fried chicken. I am open cooking any level of refinement.

I learned to cook at...

I learned to cook from Mike Lata at the Ordinary when I was in my early twenties, then really refined my technique at Eleven Madison Park.

A cooking secret...

I look for what I enjoy and find beautiful and try to show that beauty to people who may have never seen it through the food that I make for them.
