I m a 44year old female professional chef , food consultant and cookbook author with over 10 years of experience as a chef and a published cookbook author.

With classical training at Lisbon's Tourism and Hospitality institute, I have found my way has a personal chef thru professional experience and passion.

During my time has a chef I have catered for small and large scale events like weddings, corporate business meetings and countless private celebrations like yours. I have also served as personal chef for high-end households.

I am the founder and executive chef at the Portuguese catering agency Comer Amor and owner and executive chef at KOMBU restaurant in south side Lisbon.

I have been featured in the media several times and am proud to say I have been a former Masterchef Portugal contestant.

I have taught countless workshops, offered showcooking nationally and internationally and worked with children on many healthy food actions all over Portugal.

I have very high skills in vegan cuisine as well as gluten free.

Vera was amazing. We had very little time to prep and she still engaged with me in discussing different menus and alternatives. This was the first time I was hiring the services of a private chef and I was concerned they would make the food too sophisticated / posh for the very relaxed friends party we were in, but Vera perfectly nailed the mission by serving us amazing traditional portuguese food with her small twists here and there that made the entire thing even better. Thank you Vera!
