Chef Mubashir Hussain

I started cooking by chance, after working as a financial consultant in London. I landed in Lisbon in 2014 to start a new life in a country that felt like home since day one. Maybe it was richness of flavors and smells, or the warmth of the people, or a combination of both.

I had never cooked at home, surrounded by talented women ( 6 sisters, mother and many cousins) learninng how to cook was never a priority. After a few months in Portugal I got tired of frozen food, used to home made delicious meals, I was craving Pakistani food cooked with love. The best way to bridge the distance between home and Portugal was a whatsapp group with sisters to collect ideas, recipes and cooking secrets. I started experimenting cooking for myself and friends. My freinds pushed me more for cooking I guess they realised my potential as Chef more than me which am grateful for. As for my leisure time I enjoy dicovering new music, sketching, spending time with friends.
