Writer turned chef, I now use food as a way to story-tell and connect to the characters at the table.
I’m Alexandra, a private chef and founder of the Lisbon based catering company, Sebze Lisboa. After spending the last decade and a half traveling the world, (with six years of it calling Istanbul my home), I knew that when I moved to Portugal I wanted to find a way to share these unbelievable experiences with others. Through the spectrum of adventures I’ve had, I’ve consistently found that food is our chance to connect to the place we are in as well as remember and honor the places we have been. I love that a simple meal at dinner allows you to invite friends and family to ‘travel’ with you through these spaces.
