I'm very passionate about food and enjoy exploring new flavours and ingredients; I want to give my guests a memorable experience
As a child, my fondest memories in the kitchen are mouth-watering aromas and delightful flavours as my mom’s assistant. This became a catalyst for my passion in food and using my hands to curate special meals. For over 14 years, I worked in kitchens around the globe, including the Philippines, United States, Singapore and eventually settling in Australia where my most formative years as a chef took place.
I experienced almost all types of kitchens be it a café at the Connoisseur Concerto in Singapore, a resort at the Greenbrier in West Virginia, USA; an Argentinian restaurant at La Cabrera, Manila in the Philippines and the Hydro Majestic Hotel in Australia. However, it was in Australia that I worked in the toughest kitchens and rose through the ranks under Australia’s most highly respected names such as Ross Lusted (Woodcut Restaurant), Lorenzo Librino (Lode Pies) and Matt Moran (Chiswick Restaurant, Bea @ Barangaroo House, House Bar, Smoke Lounge and Rekodo Restaurant and vinyl bar) It was in Rekodo that I won Solotel Company Chef of the year 2023 against 28 other head chefs. Passionate about continuously learning, growing and connecting with people through food I strive to share delicious and memorable plates in the Philippines.
